Sea lion Island was probably the best (certainly the most civilised), where I saw a gentoo chick entire life on day, from hatching to being taken away by a caracara. Then Saunders & Volunteer point. Lots of penguins - rockhopper, macaroni, gentoo, king and magellanic + albatrosses at Saunders. Rather spoiled by my shingles which came on day two.
