Lots of fun a stone’s throw from home with many spring mornings sitting in / by the beck, learning about kingfishers and dipper breeding. Lots of dogs & middle aged women swimming, but the kingfishers flew back with fish for the brood and waited for a lull to rush in & deliver. They were also chased by the dippers. I thought about trying to raise awareness of their protected status, but in the end, decided to stay quiet rather than publicising their location. They did OK.
